• Eczema
• Constipation or diarrhoea
• Emotional difficulties or high stress
• Obesity or non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)

2. What is the difference between the two gut microbiome tests?
18B qPCR Gut Microbiome DNA Test
Analyses selected gut microbial groups associated with gut health, allergies and immune function. It is suitable for individuals seeking an initial assessment of their gut microbiome.
TGS Third-Generation Gut Microbiome Sequencing
Analyses more than 160 microbial species and uses the IGHS scoring system, designed specifically for the Hong Kong population, to provide assessments across five key health indicators, including metabolic health and sensitivity-related conditions. It is suitable for individuals seeking a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of their gut microbiome.
If you are unsure which test is right for you, please consult a healthcare professional.
3. What does a combination package add?
Both combination packages include a dual digestive screening tests: a Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) and an H. pylori Stool Antigen Test.
The Dual Digestive Screening is also available as a standalone option.
4. Can I collect the samples at home?
Yes. Please use the collection materials provided by the clinic and follow the instructions for collecting, storing and submitting your stool samples. If you have any questions about sample collection or submission, please contact the clinic for assistance.
5. What should I know before collecting the samples?
Please read the sample collection instructions provided by the clinic carefully before collecting your samples. If you are taking any medications, probiotics or supplements, please check with the clinic in advance. 7. Will a doctor explain my results?

8. Can microbiome testing diagnose a medical condition?

Your doctor will interpret the results alongside your overall health status. Please consult a healthcare professional if you have any symptoms or health concerns.
9. What happens after the test? Will probiotics be recommended?
The doctor will explain your test report during the consultation included in the package and discuss follow-up recommendations tailored to your individual needs.
Where appropriate, the doctor may also recommend a personalised probiotic supplementation plan as one option to support health management. For details regarding product arrangements and related costs, please consult your doctor or the clinic.
10. What is included? Are there any additional charges?
The fee includes the tests specified in your selected package and one doctor consultation. Additional consultations, treatment and medication are not included. Please ask the clinic about charges for other services or products.
